Giving Back

The team at East Berlin Smiles makes it a practice to give back to our neighbors both locally and globally. We do charity work and sponsor worthwhile community events as often as possible. Dr Cockley, sometimes with members of her team, has taken dental mission trips to Vietnam with Operation Smile in 2009 and 2011 and to Belize with International Health Outreach in 2014 and 2015. These trips allow us to serve the underprivileged who have no access to dental care. Closer to home, Dr. Cockley has provided free dentistry through Dentistry from the Heart, Donated Dental Services, Smiles for Freedom, Harrisburg Mission of Mercy, and Hope for Tomorrow, an organization that sponsors free dental days in the Northern VA/Washington DC area. She traveled to Zambia, Africa in 2019, providing services to orphaned children at The School for Hope.
